Core Charges

What is a Core Charge?

A core charge is a fee that is added to the price of some parts. Items with a core charge contain valuable components or materials that can be reused to make a new part. Crankshafts, cylinder heads, and engine blocks are just a few examples of parts that may have a core charge.

When you return the old part (the core), we'll refund the core charge.

Notes

  • Unusable cores that are damaged beyond repair will not be accepted and therefore no core refund will be issued.
  • If any core is not accepted, it can be returned. Return shipping of unaccepted core parts is the responsibility of the customer.
  • In accordance with state and local laws, sales tax charged on core value may be non-refundable.
