Thank you for choosing Professional Engine Rebuilders. Please read the following Return Policy carefully before initiating any return, core return, or refund request. By purchasing from our site and submitting a return, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Return Authorization (RA) Required
No returns will be accepted without a valid Return Authorization (RA) number. To request an RA, you must submit the **Return Request Form** linked at the bottom of this policy. RA numbers are typically issued within 2–3 business days, along with the return shipping address and detailed instructions.
- Returns must be shipped within **30 days of RA issuance**
- Returns without an RA will be **refused or discarded**
- Unauthorized shipments may be returned to sender at their expense
Unauthorized Returns
Unauthorized returns—those received without an RA number, outside the 30-day window, or in violation of our packaging requirements—will not be eligible for return, refund, or reshipment. These items will not be returned to the customer unless specifically requested (and at the customer's expense) within 10 business days of notification.

2. Packaging & Condition Requirements
All returned items must be:
- Properly packaged to avoid damage in transit
- Contained in original, unopened, undamaged manufacturer packaging
- Free of labels, writing, tape, or shipping materials on original packaging
We are **not responsible** for returns damaged due to improper packaging. Use a separate shipping box with adequate padding. If the original packaging is used as the shipping container, the return will be **rejected**.

3. Return Timelines
You may return eligible parts or cores within **30 calendar days of your original purchase date**.
- Returns submitted beyond this window will be denied
- Missing, incorrect, or damaged item claims must be made **within 5 business days** of delivery or delivery attempt
- Claims submitted after 30 days, regardless of fault, are not accepted

4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are **non-returnable under any condition**:
- Electrical parts
- Special-order products
- Auto body parts
- Gaskets or seals (if opened or unsealed)
- Service manuals
- Any item marked "not returnable if opened"
- Shipping Protection
Returns with broken seals, torn packaging, or tampered parts will be **rejected without refund**.

5. Core Returns
Cores must be returned in the original box and in **rebuildable condition**. Unusable, incomplete, or damaged cores may result in a **partial or denied refund**.
- You have **30 calendar days from your order date** to return a core for credit
- No core returns are accepted after 30 days
- Core packaging must meet the same condition standards as general returns
We reserve the right to reject cores that do not meet manufacturer requirements.

6. Refund Processing
If your return complies with this policy and passes inspection:
- Refunds typically process within **30 days** of receiving your return
- You will be notified via email once your return is approved and credited
- Refunds are credited to the original payment method
Please note:
- Your bank may take 4–7 business days to reflect the credit
- All returns are subject to a **non-refundable 20% restocking fee**
- Return shipping costs are non-refundable

7. Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items
Inspect your order upon delivery. If any part is missing, damaged, or incorrect:
- Do **not accept the package** if visibly damaged
- If the carrier left the package, contact us **within 5 business days**
- Claims made beyond 5 business days will not be honored
Items claimed as missing, damaged, or incorrect after 30 days are **non-refundable**.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after confirmed delivery. Claims for porch theft or misplacement must be submitted directly to the shipping carrier.

8. Risk of Loss
All purchases are shipped **F.O.B. shipping point**, meaning the risk of loss passes to you when the item is handed off to the carrier.

9. Order Cancellations
All orders are electronically processed immediately. Cancellations must occur **before you receive the "Invoice - Payment" email**.
- Orders cannot be canceled once payment is confirmed
- Orders placed between Friday 5PM EST and Monday 9AM EST cannot be canceled

By submitting a return or core refund request, you confirm that you have read and agree to abide by the terms in this Return Policy.

11. Return Request Form
To request a Return Authorization Number, please complete the Return Request Form. Submissions without prior agreement to these terms will not be processed.
